Yippe for October 1!

Yea, I actually did something tonight! I got a sewing class for my birthday this summer, and the project was a zippered slipcover for a square pillow. I used a tapestry fabric that matches this loveseat. But I also spied a Michael Miller Halloween print (the orange & black) and had to have it. Much more pricey per yard than I'm used to, so I bought cheap polkadot for the back to get 2 pillows from the 1/2 yard cut. Now I'll always have a seasonal pillow for the couch!

The larger Day of the Dead is for my college roommate who now lives in Colorado (and is married to my ex-boyfriend -- long story!). Her birthday is later this month. Now I have to go figure out the points, roughly 1/2 yard each...

  1. So is it 2 pillows at 1/2 yard each?
If so, then on your points page you write:
    1/10 2 pillows (fabric 8, pic 1) 9

This is the date, what you made, 8 points because 2 1/2 yards equal 1 yard, then 1 for your pic!
