Hooray for a child-free morning!

Kids spent the nigh at the grandparents yesterday. I cut most of this yesterday and sewed it up this morning for my daughter. Points are going to be tricky, I used bits from 7 different items; but it is an LBB and I put it on the patterns page too.

Now, I don't need to be to church for 2 more hours. Do I keep sewing, or head back to Kohls with my 30% coupon?! (No penalty for building the stash in my closet!!)

  1. So cute! And just in time for October!
For some tricky piecing bits it's good to go to the pattern and see what they said you needed, however I helped Ashley write that bit of the pattern and it says 1-2 yards...which is ever so NOT helpful lol. What size is this skirt? My DD's 3s are about 28" by 28" circled, plus the waist band. I'd say 3/4 of a yard (basing it on 44" by 36" is a yard) for a 3. I can help you figure out the other sizes if you'd like.
    hmmm...I don't know much about Kohl's, is 30% a good coupon there? :)

  2. When I did my points I just added it all up to 2 kids shirts, which is fine. It is a 4/5 with an extra inch of length.
Kohls is a department store where everything is always already 25% or more off, so an extra 30% is a great treat! I've been taking off weight with Weight Watchers (43 lbs in 1 year) and needed to seriously downsize my wardrobe!
