Sewed a zig-zag edge on a flannel receiving blanket (store-bought just aren't large enough for swaddling!) and a pillowcase for the birthday party my daughter is going to on Saturday. Pretty good points for half an hour!
Anything you can get 42" or larger works really well for a tight swaddle, it doesn't need to be an exact square, either. Kinderhausblankets on Etsy also sells very nice ones. I got one for a friend who refuses to use it and already put it in the hope chest! So she's the mom getting the one pictured above. How exciting for twins!! Do they run in the family?
